Not all truck accidents in Hollywood and Florida are the same. Depending on the type of truck that was involved in your collision, you may have very different injuries or you may have a different risk for serious injuries:

4) Big rigs and tractor-trailers.
Big rigs and tractor-trailers have a high center of gravity, which can make them vulnerable to rollovers. In addition, tractor-trailers can be at risk of jackknife accidents in Hollywood and Florida because of the way that the trailers are attached. Because of the size and force of the tracks, they’re more likely to be involved in fatal or serious collisions.
5) Moving trucks.
Moving trucks pose unique risks due to their size and due to the fact that they are often rented. Rented moving trucks are often driven by people who only have experience driving smaller passenger vehicles. In some cases, rented moving trucks are awkward to park and drivers may park illegally to make moving easier, creating an additional risk of collisions.
6) Light trucks.
Light trucks are often driven by people who don’t have licenses for larger tractor-trailers and big rigs. Unfortunately, just because someone can buy and drive a light truck it does not mean that they account for the larger blind spots of the vehicle. Accidents can occur because light truck drivers do not notice drivers around them and do not take extra precautions with their larger vehicle.
7) Tow trucks.
Tow trucks are flatbed trucks, and one of the risks with these vehicles is that cargo – such as cars being towed – can slide from the truck and into oncoming traffic if the cargo is not correctly secured. Tow trucks also often have to stop on the side of the road, where tow truck drivers may be at risk of pedestrian accidents as other cars drive by at full speed.
